Billie Eilish Releases Anticipated Album: ‘Happier Than Ever’

The wait is over as finally Billie Eilish releases much anticipated album ‘Happier Than Ever’. The album was written by Billie and her brother, long time producer and collaborator, Finneas who handled the production of the album in Los Angeles.

Fans of Billie have been gearing up towards the release of the album since it was hinted at in April on the 26th. Billie first stirred attention with a fifteen second snippet of one of the song to be on album titled ‘Happier Than Ever’ which is also the name of the album.

Ahead of the album release, singles were shared, hits like “My Future,” “Therefore I Am,” “Your Power,” “Lost Cause,” and “NDA” that garnered interest and got fans excited.

Billies discusses one of her singles “Your Power” with Laura Snapes for British Vogue “It’s an open letter to people who take advantage—mostly men.” She continued, “I would like people to listen to me. And not just try to figure out who I’m talking about, because it’s not about that. It’s really not at all about one person. You might think, ‘It’s because she’s in the music industry’—no, dude. It’s everywhere.”

In another interview with Rolling Stone Billie reveals that the album has almost no joyful songs and speaks on her reluctance to release “Your Power” as it is one of her favorites in the songs she has written, stating “…I felt the world didn’t deserve it.”

Eilish speaking about her album ‘Happier Than Ever’ told Vevo, “I wanted to make a very timeless record that wasn’t just timeless in terms of what other people thought, but really just timeless for myself,” she references London, Frank Sinatra and Peggy Lee as inspirations for the album. “The main thing that I would hope is for people to hear what I say and then go, ‘Oh, God, I feel like that. I didn’t know I felt like that, but this is how I feel.’ And maybe, you know, make a change in their life that makes them happier,” said Billie.

Billie Eilish is an award winning artiste that bagged four Grammy Awards with the release of her debut album “When We Fall Asleep Where Do We Go” and hit single from the album “Bad Guy” which featured a remix with Justin Bieber. She won Grammy’s for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Album of the Year.
