Impact of Single Parenthood In the 21st century; A look at the movie – ‘”Fatherhood”.

 

Single parenting : fast becoming a norm, with the rise of Baby Mamas and Baby Daddies these days, it has raised a few concerns and contributions to the society which may or may not be positive, but can be considered an addition to the culture of the 21st century.

It takes more than a one man army to bring a baby to life!

Raising a child to adulthood however takes an entire community!!!

Children can definitely be a handful as infants and as adults.

It’s popularly accepted that Mothers are termed to be the best to look after or nurture a child but how about Fathers!?

The blockbuster movie – Fatherhood released this year 2021, shows a single widower bringing up his baby girl with zero experience on how to raise a baby whatsoever. After loosing his Wife unexpectedly at child birth.

Single Handedly raising the child came with it’s own challenges, with help from friends and family, there were tough decisions to be made, issues that arose that he had to be present at, things he had to do to include the child in his everyday life.

Eventually, everything turned out nicely for him and his baby girl as he exhibited that men could take care of children too even though generally, handling a child and watching them grow is one tough job to do.
